As a teen Erica practiced at various studios throughout Metro Detroit, trying to find her place and purpose. After graduating from MSU, she moved to Chicago in search of photography work and power yoga. Erica had the opportunity to practice and study under a variety of Chicago's top teachers, completing multiple Y.A. trainings at various Yoga Schools throughout the city. She has a passion for exploring how bodies move on and off the mat.

Her time in Chicago allowed Erica to come into her own as a student. Since moving back to Detroit, she’s had the opportunity to evolve her role as a guide in the classroom. She appreciates all forms of movement whether it's riding a bike, practicing yoga, or running around barefoot. She approaches her classes with a devotion to alignment but offers students room to explore their depths through playfulness and self-study.

Erica also provides support and education to fellow yoga instructors through her carefully curated Work Study Program. In her free time, she studies weekly at Center For Iyengar Yoga and explores different ways to broaden her role as a teacher of movement. Erica’s teachings are greatly influenced her dear friends and teachers Sara Strother, Christina Corso, and The Maze Method.
